In 1852, a group of believers desired to build a church where they could follow Jesus and make disciples in our area. For almost 174 years, our church has been a beacon of faith built not on stone and mortar alone, but on the unwavering dedication of hearts like yours. God has moved powerfully through this church—people coming to faith, proclaiming it through baptism, and sharing it through missions and service.

God is not done. Therefore, we are not done.

As we stand on the threshold of our next chapter, we feel a profound calling to honor the past while preparing for the future. We believe God's faithfulness is a blessing meant to extend far beyond this generation, and by renewing our mission, we are paving the way for the next 174 years.

Our dark world needs the bright light of Jesus like never before. This is our moment to link arms together, to renew our commitment to ministry and missions, and to gain ground for the Kingdom of God that will extend for generations to come.

Now is the time.

A Note From
Pastor Michael

There are moments in the life of a church when the Lord makes it clear that He is calling us to something greater than ourselves. I believe we are in one of those moments.

My encouragement to you is this… seek the LORD. I want to invite you in a genuine pursuit of Jesus, the One who loves you and has plans that far exceed even our own dreams. I want you to embrace His Word, pray on your knees, worship Him in spirit and in truth.

My invitation is that we be “eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Eph. 4:3). This will be an important moment to link arms and walk together in all “humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love” (Eph. 4:2).

In this season, we really believe that God is calling us toward faithfulness towards His mission. Yes, we will be stretched, challenged, and even uncomfortable. But what a gift it will be to the coming generation to know that we were faithful to our God-given assignment!

As we take this journey together, let’s do it with joy! This year marks 174 years of faithfulness of this church and this is not a small thing… it’s a living testimony. God has been faithful then and He is faithful now… and we believe He will be faithful in everything that He is calling us to, TOGETHER!

First Family, the best is still ahead. Let’s pursue our assignment together prayerfully and expectantly!

“For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations."

Psalm 100:5

PRIMARY GOAL

100% Engagement

We want every single person to take his or her first or next step in discipleship and grow in generosity. Our prayer is for God to open each of our hearts, that we might each have a life-changing encounter with Him, and follow Him wherever and however He calls us.

What's Next?

We are asking you to join us on a spiritual journey with God, to grow in discipleship, and take this step of faith with us, as we wait expectantly on the Lord.

RE/NEW?

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10 ESV

We believe that God does something in us before He does something through us.
God is inviting us to be renewed, as individuals and as a church body. To renew our spirits, renew our mission, and renew our reach, all for the sake of the gospel.

Are you ready to take your next step in your discipleship journey?

It's time to RE/NEW.
